Painted Messages from Beyond
As far back as I can remember I've felt the presence of loved ones who have passed on, but it wasn’t until the loss of my grandparents that the veil truly lifted. They made their presence known through signs, visions, and sensations that were too clear to dismiss as coincidence or imagined. Our pets come through too. My beloved dog Scout, connected with me after she passed in a vivid and undeniable way. These experiences inspired me to explore this communication using intuitive art and I've found that our loved ones come through in creative and meaningful ways that validate their presence in our lives.
Connecting with passed loved ones through art is a unique and magical experience!
Their energy comes through in different ways — sometimes insistent, where I must drop everything to paint with them, and other times patient. Sometimes the timing aligns with meaningful dates. One time, unbeknownst to me, I gave someone a painting from their mother on their birthday! Another mom came through on her wedding anniversary, and with a bell shaped flower! They may send messages to validate events in your life, offer gentle reminders — like eating your veggies — or share their sense of humor.
While channeling a painting, my other senses become activated to receive communication.
Sometimes a song will play on loop in my mind, offering deeper context or emotional resonance. Other times, phrases and words drop in, providing explanations for specific aspects of the imagery. I may even experience physical sensations that convey messages. Every detail that comes through is carefully recorded in the report that accompanies the finished painting, ensuring nothing is missed in the connection and interpretation.
